THE ASK
Pixel has cemented itself in the world of basketball over the last few years as the Official Fan Phone of the WNBA & NBA.
As it continued to deepen its ties to the sports world, a partnership with the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) just made sense. The values are aligned with Google Pixel and not to mention, soccer in America is one of the fastest growing sports—and it’s being driven by young, diverse audiences.
Robot was tasked with developing the partnership approach for how Pixel shows up as the Official Fan Phone for the NWSL, too!
MY ROLE
As of now, the work is still ongoing, but I was instrumental in the development of the strategy and go-to-market plan (inclusive of a full comms approach and pov on talent, partnerships, moments, and social) including a discovery phase in which we were able to speak with fans, NWSL stakeholders, and sports media journalists and publications.
