EVENT OVERVIEW
On Saturday, April 6, 2024 at York College in Queens, NYC, LIFE Camp, Inc. hosted its first ever Gaming 4 Peace Symposium. The event was a full-day program for gamers, educators, and youth to tackle violence, mental health, and resource scarcity. The Symposium will included career-building advice in the gaming industry and the first Annual LIFE Camp Gaming For Peace 2K Invitational, the culmination of a three-day gaming tournament.

RESULTS
Over 400 youth, aged 12-21, from the inner cities of Philadelphia, Newark, and D.C. were in attendance for conversations among gaming professionals, a White House Deputy, and artists and entertainers.

I developed the run of show for the event’s programming, and coordinated speaking points, speaker briefs for 30+ speakers.
