OVERVIEW
From Fall 2022 through February 2023, I was on the social team for the Pixel x NBA partnership, where Pixel is the Official Fan Phone. I led the development of our evergreen strategy approach, one that has an emphasis on talent and NBA moments.

THE STRATEGY
Get fans closer to everything they love about the game they love.

We understand that fandom is a spectrum, so when Pixel x NBA show up on social together, it’s always speaking to a part of the sport’s culture that fans are able to excitedly engage with.

THE EXECUTION
For this partnership’s social strategy, we leverage our Team Pixel and Social Starting Five, two rosters that include our star W/NBA players, content creators, media professionals, and social media personalities.

For All-Star Weekend 2023, we worked with the client to develop a production checklist and schedule for the content capturing that needed for the team that was on-the-ground at Pixel Playground.

Beyond ASW, we’d identify ways to leverage talent deal points on social, as seen with Jayson Tatum’s post where he teases Giannis for their upcoming match with a cut from the campaign’s hero spot.
