THE ASK
An annual publication, The Program Vol. 2 highlighted artists whose success doesn’t come from traditional cultural hubs (NYC or LA), but instead other pockets throughout the country. I was tasked with writing about Elle Barbeito, an artist and fashion designer who uses the skin of invasive Everglades pythons to create her designs, which range from clothing and accessories to furniture upholstery.

MY ROLE
I researched, developed a discussion guide and talking points, interviewed, and wrote the article for Elle.

THE LAUNCH
During Art Basel in December 2023, SpringHill hosted the PLEASE DO TOUCH ART event, in partnership with Billionaire Boys Club, to celebrate the launch of the zine. In attendance were art enthusiasts, entertainment, sports, and television stars, a performance by Rick Ross, and Hebru Brantley, the zine’s contributing editor.
